About Author
Mandakranta Bose began her Sanskrit studies at Sanskrit College, Calcutta. Her research in this field began at Oxford under Professor Thomas Burrow and continued in India and later in Canada and Oxford, with a doctorate from the latter. At present she teaches at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.
